Posting Comments to the TMCC Website and Receiving Notifications

I’ve had a few replies from club members unable to post their comment to the competition discussion. The first thing you have to do is log in to the website (scroll to the lower right corner).  Anyone on the planet can view the discussion, but you have to be a member of the club and registered user with password in order to post a comment.

If you don’t remember your user name and password, you’ll need to contact myself or Bob Peterson and one of us will reset it for you.

Once you log in to the website, you’ll see “Leave A Reply” with a comments box at the bottom of each discussion thread. This is important though…. the comments box only appears at the bottom of the individual discussion for each picture that I’ve numbered #1, #2 and so on. The comments box does not appear in the master thread under “Join The Discussion” where the stream of ALL discussions is shown.  You have to click on the heading (or Comment) for one of the individual discussions to post a comment.

If you’re not receiving email notifications from the club, check to see in your profile that you’re set up for having them sent to you. Here’s how: After you log in to the website, navigate to the upper left corner, above the TMCC logo, where Thunder Mountain Camera Club appears. Click that for a drop-down menu which says “Dashboard.”

Click “Dashboard” and then click on Profile > Your Profile and you’ll see all of your settings.

The username is set automatically and can’t be changed. However, you can reset your password.

At the bottom, you’ll see the checkbox for Receive Notifications.”
