About TMCC

The Thunder Mountain Camera Club is a nonprofit organization, formed in 1981, promoting the study, enjoyment, and use of photography.

The Club often meets the fourth Tuesday of a month (except December and some warmer months for an outing).  Check out the planned events tab for more specific information OR club Facebook page.

7:00 – 9:00 p.m.

Grand Junction Gem & Mineral Club building at 2328 Monument Road

Our club meetings offer photography discussions, guest speaker presentations, monthly challenges, occassional photo competitions.  These competitions are used to get feedback, learn more about photography, and appreciate other peoples’ perceptions of our photography. The club occassionally conducts educational workshops, shows photographs in public places and has organized photo outings into areas of local interest.

Anyone is welcome to attend one meeting or outing. All you need to do is show up. You don’t need to bring your camera, and all skill levels are welcome to attend. We currently have an even mixture of beginning, intermediate and advanced photographers.

Membership fees for Thunder Mountain Camera Club (2024):
$40.00 per year for individuals
$50.00 per year for families
$ 0.00 per year for students
