Scott Kelby is hosting the 7th annual Kelby Worldwide Photowalk, Darcy & I participated in this last year & we had a blast. We didn’t get the word out early enough, but we feel that it would be a great way to meet other photographers & share in the love of photography. We’d like to enjoy the spirit of Downtown Grand Junction with a photo walk. We can always add other locations to our walk on this day, but we’d like to start out near the Chrome on the Range buffalo in front of Wells Fargo, wander through downtown and meet up at Main Street Bagel for coffee, drinks and some breakfast if desired & share a little about photography with our fellow photographers. We can invite some models along if portrait photographers would like to join in as well, take each other’s photos, etc. There are great prizes for the top photos, I believe we have the talent in the valley to compete on an international level. If the group would like to continue shooting elsewhere throughout the day, we can always continue the walk throughout the day & incorporate more of our area in the competition.
