November 2023 meeting summary

13 folks were in attendance. We had introductions and each person mentioned their recent areas of interest in photography. Former members Scott and Cheryl attended. Welcome Back ! The treasury has approximately $430. Sharon indicated the Periodic Report for the TMCC non-profit is due in December. Bob opened an account with the Thundermtncam email address and filed the 2024 Periodic Report ($10).

Six people shared photos for the monthly challenge “MODES OF TRANSPORT”. The club was offered a chance to hang photographs in City Hall in January 2024 where there is space for approx. 20 photographs. Eight people indicated interest in hanging pics and Hank will be the contact and Bob will help if needed. Ed gave the city the Hank/Bob contact information and the city responded requesting photographs (to be hung) be sent for review by the Arts Commission. Hank will be in touch with more information. Seven folks indicated they would help the club move forward forming a Steering committee. A meeting time and place was established to plan for 2024. Those interested in Steering will meet at 7 pm, Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at the Mesa Mall IHOP.

There is no meeting or outing planned in December unless someone does a spur of the moment gathering. Bob P. will reserve a meeting room at WCCC (CMU west) for the January club meeting to be held January 23, 2024 @ 7-9 pm. At the January meeting, Hank will provide a technical discussion on BELLOWS. The monthly challenge is “LANDSCAPE” (bring thumb drive) and the Steering committee will talk about 2024 plans.
